• Thermoplastic construction: the lightweight outer shell is made of technologically advanced, impact-resistant thermoplastic, available in three sizes (Youth Small, Youth Medium, and Youth Large) to optimize fit and weight; the SM3 Youth weighs 1060 g (ECE) and 1170 g (DOT).
• Specific DOT/ECE versions: the shells have separate versions to meet DOT and ECE requirements; in the DOT-certified version, the inner shell incorporates a composite fiber assembled between the outer shell and EPS liner to maximize impact protection.
• Customizable fit: crown pads and cheek pads, available as spare parts in different thicknesses, allow for precise adaptation of the helmet to the rider's head for improved comfort and support.
• YM/YL growth system: Youth Medium (YM) and Youth Large (YL) sizes share the same EPS size, allowing you to start with a YM helmet and later configure it to Youth Large as the rider grows by replacing the crown and cheek pads.
