The design of the Tech 10 Supervented has been guided by three priorities, as the technical footwear development team at Alpinestars sought to improve overall functionality, performance, and safety, as well as reduce the weight and bulk of the materials.

The shell also includes an integrated shank for support and structural integrity.
• The front protector features a dual closure system with an internal microfiber flap, plus hook-and-loop fasteners for a precise and secure fit with a lightweight, micro-adjustable and easy-to-operate buckle.
• The shin features an exclusive TPU blade system designed to prevent frontal hyperextension and provide greater flex control.
• The soft microfiber gaiter helps seal out excess water and dirt entry, while the 3D mesh lining ensures better air circulation and comfort.
• The 3D mesh lining incorporates anti-slip suede in the heel area to keep the foot positioned inside the boot.

The new slimline buckle closure system includes high-impact bridge closures that are cold-forged for added precision and strength. The buckle closure system features memory and a quick-release/locking system with a self-aligning design for easy and precise closure, as well as improved riding performance and safety. All buckles are easily replaceable.
